Item 1:
2005 Summer Paving and Patching Projects

A. The County informed us that our proposed project will cost over $11,000. Therefore, we would not be eligible for an informal bid, as we requested, and would have to submit the project for a formal bid. The County estimates that such bid would cost us an additional $7,000 in County administrative costs. Therefore, the overlay of part of Sweet Pea Lane was removed from the project and the project was resubmitted as an informal bid project. The County is in the process of re-advertising the project.

B. Jim Johnson and Michael Saunders agreed to work with other area road associations to lobby the County to adjust their project cut-off fees to more accurately represent the current cost of paving.

Item 2:
Park Drive V-ditch Improvements and Park Drive/Pike Drive Culvert Repair A. Earthworks is currently working a bid for the two parts of this job.
